With four golf courses nearby, there are outstanding golfing opportunities. The Prout’s Neck Country Club is less than 5 minutes away; golfing privileges are available on a guest basis. There are three public golf courses within 15 minutes or less of the homes – Nonesuch River Golf Club, Pleasant Hill Country Club, and Willowdale Golf Club.

Nonesuch River Golf Club is a 203-acre facility. It features a meticulously maintained 18-hole championship golf course, a modern 2,500 square-foot clubhouse, a full-size practice range and green, and golf academy. The facility is located at 304 Gorham Road, Scarborough, (207) 883-0007.

Pleasant Hill Country Club is a nine-hole course located at 38 Chamberlain Rd, Scarborough, (207) 883-9340. The greens are undulating and well bunkered. There are four ponds on the course. Ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men.

Prouts Neck Country Club is an 18-hole private course located at 499 Black Point Rd. Scarborough, (207) 883-9851. The course is set next to the ocean and has spectacular views. Guests are welcomed if sponsored by a member.

Willowdale Golf Club is an 18-hole course located at 52 Willowdale Road, Scarborough, (207) 883-9351. The course is beautifully set in pines.
